Set amidst 10 acres of beautiful gardens and woodland, Ardtara is an elegantly restored 19th century mansion. The house has great charm, elegance and character which offers you, your family and friends a unique opportunity to enjoy the luxury of having a private home yet enjoying Northern Irish hospitality at its best. The house is available to hire on an exclusive basis allowing your guests to retire to one of our 9 elegantly designed bedrooms.
This stunning space is conveniently located in the heart of Mid Ulster at the foothills of the Sperrin Mountains just 50 minutes from Belfast, 40 minutes from Derry and 30 minutes from Coleraine.
As you might expect being owned by award-winning restaurateurs (Browns Bonds Hill Collection), the dining and service at Ardtara for your wedding will be to the highest of standards. Our chefs and kitchen team work incredibly hard to deliver outstanding flavours through all of our dishes using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and home grown produce.
Our aim with every wedding is to create something unique and memorable, tailored to your exact needs. We can offer advice at every stage from menu choices to wine pairing; canapes to champagne.
Our Clark Room Restaurant can seat up to 54 guests for dinner. For a smaller reception, the Garden Room can seat up to 24 guests. Or alternatively use both rooms for a group of up to 78.
Ardtara has the advantage of being licensed for civil ceremonies, making it the perfect place to tie the knot.
